Founded in 2018, Kapsule is a healthcare data company focused on turning fragmented medical information across Africa into clean, usable insights. By integrating with existing EMR and ERP systems, Kapsule aggregates and standardizes data so that pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and healthcare providers can make more informed, evidence–based decisions.

The 2024 Winter case asked students to design Kapsule’s global expansion strategy into markets like India, Indonesia, and Brazil. Teams explored how Kapsule could scale its proven African model while maintaining affordability, data quality, and impact as it entered new health systems and regulatory environments.

Case Focus

The 2025 Summer case centered on Curacel’s expansion into North Africa and the Middle East. Students explored how Curacel could leverage different types of large language models (LLMs) to enhance automation and decision–making while staying compliant with local data–hosting and regulatory requirements.
