At CaseCatalyst, we believe that the best way to learn is through experience. However, high school students often lack access to experiential learning programs. That’s why we set out to create an alternative—one that allows students to learn through the experiences of others. The case method has long been a cornerstone of business education at top institutions like Harvard Business School, and we asked ourselves: Why should high school students have to wait until an MBA to benefit from this powerful learning tool?
That’s how CaseCatalyst was born—a virtual case competition designed specifically for high school students. By gamifying the learning process through competition, we make it engaging and exciting for young minds. We also believe that education should drive positive societal impact. As innovation continues to rise in developing economies, a gap has emerged where young students are unaware of the challenges, opportunities, and growth potential in these markets. To bridge this gap, our cases focus on innovative, impact-oriented startups from developing economies, helping students gain a global perspective, develop critical skills, an opportunity to implement solutions, and create an impact at the same time.
